Langkawi - Awana Porto Malai

Early in the next morning we checkout from 'Rasa Eksotika'. Since our stayed come with a free breakfast we decided to redeem it at 'Rasa Restaurant'. Both of us took nasi lemak seafood. It do taste nice but unfortunately the portion was really small. It is learnt that at night the restaurant will be fully occupy with foreigner since it do serve all the Asia authentic food ranging from Indonesian dishes to Malay traditional food.

Next we booked a scooter. Since we learnt from the internet that one of the easiest mode of transportation is scooter, we decided to rent for it. Per day rental is RM20. Since we booked it for 6 day, after bargain we managed to get it for RM100 for the entire 6 day. One note that need to take caution is, you need to have a valid license either authorized in Malaysia or International license. Also not to forget that fuel is on your own bare during the rental.

Next stop to go and checkin' to 'Awana Porto Malai'. We decided to check-in at 'Awana Porto Malai' since looking it from the Internet it do look nice and we want to see it for ourself. The whole interior of the hotel do look nice, colorful and not forgetting it got a bay of it own. A few yard, small boat can be seen stopping by exactly near at the Awana Porto Malai bay area. More info can be found here related to Awana Porto Malai resort

Since this is part of our 1st pre-honeymoon, we really liked the hotel because of its privacy, secluded area and not forgetting its nice design with yellow and red color. However it is a bit faraway from all the action in Chenang beach. So we decided to stay for just 1 night and will checkout the next day and find some other hotel/ chalet which is near and if can fronting the beach.
